Q?Do you charge mileage for errands?
A.

Usually no. However, if the errands exceed 20 miles then we charge a rate of .55 per mile charge additionally to the hourly rate.

Q?What is a Flash Runner?
A.

A Flash Runner is a Task Runner who handles emergency and last minute tasks for clients outside of regular business hours. Additional fees do apply for this service.

Q?Are there Task Runners available on the weekend?
A.

Yes, but must the time must be scheduled in advance.

Q?Do I have a new Task Runner each time? Or am I designated one assistant?
A.

Typically, each client is paired with one Task Runner. However, if your needs require more assistance, we have additional Task Runners waiting in the wings. Moreover, if your Task Runner is unavailable for any reason, he/she will train another equally qualified Task Runner in your specific needs/errands and transfer responsibilities seamlessly.

Q?If my Task Runner handles errands and uses their own money, how is reimbursement handled?
A.

When you receive your invoice from The Task Runners there will be an expenses section where receipts will be attached. If your expenses total more than $50 we require that you reimburse your Task Runner immediately.

Q?How far in advance do I need to book a Task Runner?
A.

If you are an interested new client, we first request that you book a general consultation so we can properly understand and meet your needs.

Q?What if I live outside of Los Angeles, CA?
A.

If you reside outside of the L.A. area, please call us and we can likely figure out a solution together. Many of the tasks we offer can be completed remotely!

A.

Monday -Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Q?What is the billing process?
A.

We have a standard hourly rate and invoices are sent out on a weekly basis with payment due upon receipt.

We accept Check, Cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Q?Are you a courier service?
A.

We are much more than a courier service, but if running errands is your current need we are more than happy to complete the task!

Q?Do you babysit?
A.

We love kids! However, this is a service we do not offer. We are happy to assist you in the process of researching, scheduling, interviewing, and hiring babysitters.

Q?How does it all work?
A.

Usually the process starts with an assessment during which we break down your needs into tasks. We then take the tasks off your hands and into ours and automate them so that they are no longer on your to-do list.  e.g. Opening and categorizing mail.

Q?What does ‘tidying up office” entail?
A.

We believe a neat and aesthetically pleasing office fosters productivity. We thus organize our clients’ spaces by sorting, filing, and returning objects to their designated homes. We are not a maid service, however, though we are happy to help you research and hire one to meet your cleaning needs.

Q?You offer dog walking as one of your services. How is that paid? Hourly? Daily?
A.

We work in conjunction with a dog walking company that will come separately from your regular Task Runner. The rate for this service is subject to an additional fee.
